You just got your first printer (or maybe 5th!), now what?

We will spend some time talking about 3D printer basics - from understanding filament types, nozzle sizes, and using the software, to finding things to print, and very basic printer care. You should leave with a better understanding of your machine and be ready to start creating successful prints.

We have a variety of different printer models on hand to show you - and you are welcome to bring your tablet or computer to follow along on the slicer of your choice.

A 10% discount will be given to all participants the day of the workshop. The discount will be good for all filament, build plates, parts and accessories.

*If you have a child under 16 that would like to attend, we ask that a responsible adult stay with them.

Once you’re comfortable with your 3D printer, the next step is learning all the ways you can customize your prints and print settings in the software.

Students will learn to use the slicer to control the printer and manipulate the size, quality, speed and even more details that impact how the finished print will turn out. 

This class is applicable to all brands of printers / slicers.  Bring your computer or tablet to follow along during the class.

This workshop is a 3-hour introduction to Tinkercad - a powerful 3D design tool and is taught by Tinkering with Todd.

In this class you will learn the steps needed to start designing in Tinkercad, from creating an account, learning to navigate the application, and use shapes to design.  Then you will create your first project and export it to a slicer to prepare for printing.

Bring your computer or tablet for this interactive hands-on class.
